The re-tape kit has everything you need to reapply your Truly Seamless set: 15 fresh no-shine tape strips and a bottle of remover.
What is in the re-tape kit
You get 15 replacement no-shine tape strips for Truly Seamless extensions, plus a bottle of remover to release the old tape. It is the simplest refresh for a set you already own, because both steps are in one box.
How a reapplication works
First, use the remover to release the old tape bonds. Next, clean away leftover residue so the weft is ready. Then apply fresh strips and reinstall the weft. Our at-home application guide walks through placement and sectioning, and a stylist can do it for you if you prefer.
Kit or strips alone?
If you already have remover, the 15-pack of re-tape strips is tape only. For several reapplications, the 36-pack goes further.
Care between reapplications
A well-cared-for set can be reused two or three times. Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo, air-dry, and store flat. The American Academy of Dermatology on weaves and extensions recommends regular breaks from extensions.
